Vinyl and Comic Books

I've been discovering quite a lot of things lately-one of them being the magic of Cubao X's vintage stores. I'm happy that Darren introduced me to that area. It's a shame a few of our friends couldn't go.

We also went to Anonas, but I'll post about that in just a second.
  • Wandered around Cubao Expo. Some of the stores, particularly Sputnik and the handful of vintage shops, were just beautiful to look at.
  • Late lunch at Bellonis/Bellinis ...I can't recall the name. But hey, it's that Italian restaurant from that film One More Chance! Pasta there is fantastic.
  • Darren ordered wine and it was good until the late afternoon sun got in the way and made it warm. By then it tasted sjfkdfjskdfjsdf.
  • More wandering around~
  • Finding an amazing vinyl record store! Absolutely fell in love with the vinyl collection. I barely knew most of the artists, but it was fun browsing through and seeing the cover art. What surprised me was that it was only 100 each! It came as a shock because the modern vinyls I see cost a ton more. Either way, I wasn't going to leave the shop without one.

I saw a shop nearby that sold loads of vintage comic books and I just couldn't resist. I managed to get some Star Trek, X-Force, Alien, Predator, and some other titles that caught my eye that I'm not too familiar with. And come on, at just 20 each? Damn, that's amazing.

Oh, and Darren is now in possession of a demon lighter that almost set fire to my hair. I swear, it's absolutely insane.

I have the biggest feeling that I'm forgetting about a lot more, but that and my post about Anonas shall have to wait. My eyes are heavy and I'm exhausted and I'm about to pass out any minute n
